SimulTel provides a suite of solutions and services to individual hospitals and groups of hospitals that have significant interpreting demand. These are designed to leverage in-house/staff interpreters and set up in-house remote simultaneous interpreting capabilities. Solutions and services provided by SimulTel, directly and through its partners, include:
- Assistance with design and rollout of overall technology infrastructure, including access options, call routing, call management, quality control and reporting;
- Supply and integration of specialized interpreter and supervisor software to enable remote simultaneous interpreting;
- Workforce development, including recruitment, screening and training of simultaneous medical interpreters through highly effective screening and training programs that have been developed and tested over nearly a decade.
- End-user implementation, including preparing facilities for access, and working with doctors and patients to refine and customize the end-user experience;
- Quality management, interpreter supervision and service evaluation; and
- Capturing and analysis of operational data, including utilization rates, to allow forecasting of call volumes and staffing requirements.
