The Center for Immigrant Health at New York University School of Medicine is a key SimulTel partner. The Center has a long history of providing quality training in linguistic access in health care. It assists hospitals in developing and maintaining a cadre of skilled medical interpreters. CIH offers a suite of services including:

• Recruitment of interpreter candidates and training the candidates using a highly regarded multilingual course in interpreting developed nearly a decade ago and provided to over a thousand students to date.
• Consultatve Quality control programs at hospitals to ensure the delivery of medical interpreting services in accordance with national and international standards of practice.
